In a surprising move, Godfather's Pizza named Jon Huntsman as their new CEO today. Huntsman, the former Governor of Utah and American Ambassador to China, was an unexpected choice considering his lack of experience in the Pizza industry. Godfather's Pizza, however, feels Huntsman will bring an outsider's no nonsense perspective to the chain.
"We at Godfather's Pizza feel that Huntsman's experience as a diplomat and governor are just what Godfather's Pizza needs to reach the next level," Godfather's Pizza said in a press release.
In other news, Herman Cain continues to run for President, citing his experience as CEO of Godfather's Pizza as what qualifies him for the job.
